About me

Whitney Browne is an arts and culture photographer. Her work centers on real people and their everyday stories, exploring themes of memory and perseverance. She has spent the last decade developing her own experimental movement photography methods, working to build a visual language between photography and performance. Whitney works in New York and Los Angeles, where she is known for her dance photography. She is currently working on a photo-documentary project about the women in her family.

Candy Store is her first book.
